Eid ul Fitri Celebration in Malaysia

So, today I would like to share how my family celebrate this Eid ul Mubarak or Hari Raya ..
From left, me,mama, elder sister, aunty and youngest sisto

I look tall. Haha 🤣🤣🤣 because I wore wedges. 1.51 M becomes 1.60 M😂
This year we are not complete since our dad is not around for some personal reason. Insyaallah hoping that next year we would gathering as a one big happy family.
Me with my niece and nephew. From the top right, my sister, my mother, and me.

So, on the last day we fast, we have planned to cook agar-agar or In kelantan we call it BLEDOR. spell and pronounce correctly pliss,, BE-LE-DORRR. I made bledor biscuit. Then, I told my mum to cook nasi dagang. I joined her cooking nasi dagang. It's not that hard la,, part nasi dagang is quite hard. U have to ''kukus' the 'nasi wangi' until empuk. Then, we make the chicken curry ( *not tandoori chicken, it is 'ayam gulai' in Malay) . Chicken curry need to be eat together with 'nasi dagang'.
Clothes
-This is the part that most kids like during Hari Raya. Most people will buy new clothes and it will be the most beautiful n special clothes for that year. We wore our traditional costume which is Baju kurung, mini kurung, kebaya , some would wear jubah or 'robe'.

Money 💰
If Chinese New year always have Angpao... Haaaa we malaysian have 'duit Raya!!!'. Another reason why kids love Hari Raya or Eid ul Mubarak. Many children and small kids come to our house and visit any house . As childrens come , they will eat some biscuit, and as they are about to go back, the owner will give some money as duit Raya. It depends.. some give RM 5, rm1 and some RM 1. Usually only kids will get the money. But this year, at the age of 22 I still get 'duit Raya!' 🤣. They say because I m still single. Even we come from a poor family, but mom still give duit Raya to old people which is my aunty (2 people). Mom like to do charity even she herself is a needy person. Hurmmm love u mom. 😘

Visiting grave
On the eid's morning, Muslims in Malaysia will visit the grave. This is because, most people come back to their hometown once a year which is during Hari Raya. They visit their late family , late grandparents or parents . Then, they will recite Surah Yasin or any surah in Al Quran.

Visiting house
So... Here it is the main purpose of Eid ul Fitri celebration. It is the month where Muslim should get back together. One will visit his or her relatives, friends, neighbors 's house.. then, have some meals or dishes.. on that day, we will seek forgiveness from each other. We will seek forgiveness for every mistake that we have made.
It is also the month of victory for musliM after had fast for 1 month in the holy month of Ramadhan.
Eid Mubarak / Al Fitri teaches Muslims to stay strong together, forgetting the difference, forget all the fights, grudge or unsettle matter. It is the month to become a better Muslim. A new restart of relationship within muslims. But, seeking forgiveness is not just among Muslims, it should happen within All people regardless their religion. 😊.

Di Bulan Yang mulia ini, beranikanlah diri mengakui kesilapan Dan kesalahan, ringan ringankan lah mulut meminta maaf serta jangan lupa hormat orang lain. Itulah kunci kelangsungan sesuatu perhubungan..
